Stores/relates training requirements, qualifications, and document master lists.  Indicates who must be retrained when a document is revised.  Also tracks controlled document locations and reminds you to replace old revisions with new ones.   Reports on employees who need additional training when a position requirement is added.  This database will serve as the key evidence for your registrar to prove there is a working training system in place.  It will also provide some evidence of a working document control system.

Stores, tracks, and reports on corrective and preventive action requests.    Pin-points the status of any corrective/preventive action at any point in time.  Generates memos for department managers regarding late corrective/preventive actions.  Create timely status reports for management review.   Graph corrective/preventive actions and more.  Throughput, timeliness and effectiveness of your corrective/preventive action system will be essential to your registrar. Action Track is a great tool for driving the corrective/preventive action system to attain these attributes. 

 

Vendor Watch     $249.95 + S&H  

Stores approved supplier list and vendor monitoring data.  Ability to graphically analyze vendor problems for adverse trends, and generate "corrective action packages" for the vendor, including memos, corrective action form detailing problems found, and a graph demonstrating the trend.  Templates can be saved for memos and select fields of the corrective action form.  Also, alarms can be set to sound when a particular problem occurs over a predetermined frequency, so a  corrective action package can be generated.  This database will serve as the key evidence for your registrar to prove there is a working Vendor Approval and Monitoring system in place.

Pre-Control        $299.95 + S&H

An increasingly popular statistical technique that greatly eases the burden of applying statistical techniques on the shop/plant floor.  If you have difficulty applying control charting techniques in a thorough and consistent manner (perhaps due to training or time constraints), try this alternative technique, called Pre-Control.  Pre-Control is an extremely simple, practical, easy-to-learn, yet powerful technique which will directly control your process capability and add to the bottom line.  When special print  characteristics require application of statistical techniques, try using Pre-Control (Neither ISO-9000 nor QS-9000 require the use of average and range charts).  Pre-Control can be applied to very short production runs as well as very long runs without having to perform an extensive initial study (as traditional control charting requires).  This is a statistical technique that operators like and want to use.  This application will start by teaching you how this statistical technique is applied (if needed).  Then, the application can be used to generate colored (or black and white) pre-control charts for directly controlling product/process characteristics.  Characteristics' specifications can be stored for later recall in part files.  Optionally, data may be entered into the application (real-time or later on) and used to generate histograms, capability studies, and even control charts (such as average and range charts).  Start by allowing just one operator to use this technique and notice how others will start requesting to use this technique as well.  Pre-Control will greatly improve your efficiency, morale, and quality all at the same time.  Bhote, a well respected statistician said "In a few years, as the simplicity and effectiveness of Pre-Control is better publicized, the control chart will be relegated to history, as in Japan, and Pre-Control will become the principal maintenance tool in the SPC world."  Take advantage of this technique before your competition, and realize the substantial benefits that many companies have already come to discover.
